10:10 may sound like an unusual name for a Missional Community, but it is based on something that Jesus said. In John 10:10, He said that He had come so that we can enjoy, ‘Life in all it’s fullness’. 10:10, or ‘Tens’ as it is affectionately known by members of the group, is a Missional Community which is mainly made up of young adults.
We look to create an environment, where people can truly enjoy life in all it’s fullness. That may include looking at the Bible, worshipping or praying together. It may be eating together, doing a pub quiz together, carrying out social action together or playing board games together. Essentially, whether we are meeting at church on a Sunday, at Rach and Paul’s, or Holly and Tim’s house on a Wednesday, or at the cinema or Nando’s on any day of the week, we want to be followers of Jesus who love God, look out for one another and reach our friends and family for Jesus, all in an environment with loads of laughter and great friendships.
