At the heart of our faith is what we call the Gospel – literally meaning “good news” – and it truly is the best news you could ever hear. The good news is that God loves you deeply and personally, more than you could ever imagine.
Even though we all fall short and make mistakes that separate us from God, He didn’t leave us to figure it out on our own. Instead, God sent His Son Jesus to bridge that gap, taking the punishment for our sins through His death on the cross and conquering death itself through His resurrection.
This means that through faith in Jesus, we can be forgiven, made new, and have a restored relationship with God that lasts forever. It’s not about being perfect or earning God’s love – it’s about receiving the gift of grace that Jesus offers freely to everyone who believes. This good news transforms everything: our identity, our purpose, our relationships, and our eternal destiny.
Our gatherings are relaxed and welcoming. You’ll find friendly people, contemporary music and a practical talk that connects faith to everyday life. There’s no pressure to participate in anything you’re not comfortable with, and you can simply observe and take it all in.
Come as you are! You’ll see people in everything from jeans and t-shirts to smart casual clothing. We’re much more interested in your heart than your outfit, so wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.
Not at all – just yourself! We provide everything you need, including refreshments. If you have children, we have activities and provision available for them too.
Don’t worry about it! Many of our songs will be new to you, and there’s no requirement to sing along. As for standing or sitting, just do what feels natural – some people stand, some sit and that’s perfectly fine.
Prayer is simply talking to God – it can be thanking Him, asking for help, or sharing what’s on your heart. You never have to pray out loud; most prayer happens silently in your own heart and mind.
Being a Christian means believing that Jesus is God’s Son who died for our sins and rose again, and choosing to follow Him. It’s about having a personal relationship with God through Jesus and letting that relationship change how you live.
We welcome people at every stage of their spiritual journey. You don’t need to have everything figured out – faith often grows through questions, conversations, and community. Come with your doubts, curiosity, and questions.
The best next step is simply to keep coming and get to know people. Consider joining a Missional Community where you can build relationships and explore faith in a smaller setting. Our team is always available to chat about your journey and answer any questions you have.
We have five simple values, ‘A B C D E’. These values help to shape who we are and explain why we do what we do.
We believe that every follower of Jesus has a part to play in the life and mission of the church. We all have gifts and talents that we get to discover and grow in.
We believe that the Bible is God’s book written to people. The Bible helps us to discover who God is, His character and His ways. It tells the story of God’s love for people and how we can know God. We believe that it is important that we know what the Bible says, and that this impacts how we live.
We believe that the Bible teaches that the Church is like an extended family. As such, we believe that it is important that we value our relationships with one another. We believe that it is important to invest in developing relationships with one another that are healthy and life giving.
We believe that God loves people, whether they know Him or not. We believe that it is our privilege and responsibility, as disciples of Jesus, to tell people in word and deed the Good News about Jesus. We believe that every disciple of Jesus gets to help others to grow as disciples of Jesus.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is God with us here and now. We believe that the Holy Spirit transforms lives, points people to Jesus, helps us to be secure in the love of God the Father and helps us to live our lives in the way that God wants us to. We believe that we get to encounter the Holy Spirit and live lives full of the Holy Spirit.
