Kirkby Missional Community

The Kirkby Missional Community meets every Tuesday from 7:30pm to 9:30pm in Johnmark and Ali’s home in Kirkby.  We are passionate about reaching the local community and engaging with people that would not usually walk into a church.  As part of this we organise the Kirkby Litter pick group every third Sunday at a different spaces around our local community.  The aim of this is to allow us to build links with our neighbours and respond to any questions about faith whilst making a positive difference to our local area.

In partnership with Gateway Collective, the Methodist Church and the Church of England we are also part of the ‘Wild Church’ team in Bootle.  Wild Church takes place outside in North Park community garden every
third Saturdays of the month 11:30 -1:00pm.  Again the aim of this is to reach the community with Bible stories over food.  This has developed to include a Thursday evening once a month where we meet for food and is a safe place for people to ask questions about faith and how God is active today.
